    Rooster or Hen?

    Delaware chickens

Hello! New to Delaware chickens but not to raising chickens, we however have only had pullets/older hens thus far; we believe this one is a young roo. Very tame, held since day 1, and still docile and easily handled as of today. A few days shy of 16 weeks old. It is MUCH larger than brooder...

Rhode Island Red roo or Hen?

16 weeks old. Not aggressive in the least, it just has larger waddles and comb than the others. Here’s a few pics. One is next to one of our amberlinks for size comparison Curious if we’ve got a Roo on our hands? Thanks

Thanks! That’s kinda what I was leaning towards, but with their different and quite distinct markings I wasn’t sure if we had one of each! ☺️
