Is there anyone in the Los Angeles area who wants one or more of my cockerels from onceinabluemoonfarmstead for free? I have two splash from the wheaten/bluewheaten/splash Ameraucanas and possibly one white Amerauacana. I'm in the San Fernando Valley.
We hatched 1 Male Crested Cream Legbar and 1 Male Golden Cuckoo Marans chicks on 4/20/16 that need to find homes. They have good markings and are auto sexing. Pick up only in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles.
We had 1 Crested Cream Legbar (various sources), 2 Crested Cream Legbar (Rees roos from GFF over C line hens), and 2 Golden Cuckoo Marans hatch at school in the middle of the night. Any ideas in terms of breeds and sexes? The GCMs are supposed to be harder to autosex.

Hello. I just took out my Hovabator 1588 after several years to test before hatching at my daughter's school. I tried to reset the thermostat. It says to rocker down away from the numbers is off but there's an "OFF" label alongside my numbers on the top. I toggled all off/down, then turned...
Hello,
I'm in need of 4 dozen hatching eggs for a school project the week of 3/28. Does anyone in Los Angeles have hatching eggs for pick up or shipping to the San Fernando Valley?
I'm looking for any of the following:

Cream legbar
Faverolles

I hatched this silkie male in June. He's for pick up only in Encino, CA. Email me for details. We can't have roos and we need to find him a home ASAP.
I had ended the listing before because I found someone, but they decided they can't have more chickens.
I hatched this silkie male in June. He's for pick up only in Encino, CA. Email me for details. I'm not too auction savvy, so please just email me. We can't have roos and we need to find him a home.
So my 5 day construction project is on week 3 now. We usually let them free range in the evenign but they've been stuck in the coop and attached run. Now my Ameracauna pullets have their tail feathers pecked off. It looks horrible. When will these grow back in? During the first molt? The...
I have two Black Copper Marans cockerels from hatching eggs I purchased from Greenfire Farms' Bev Davis line. They hatched in May 2010. Pick up only in Los Angeles--Encino.

How do you guys get the reservoir up high enough to feed the nipple waterers? I can't think of how I can do it outside the coop, so it doesn't show in front, so that it's easy to refill, so that I don't have to do much construction, in a tight space.....
Does anyone have pictures? THANKS...
THESE CHICKS HATCHED ON JUNE 9TH. THANKS!

This is our 4 month old BO who repeatedly takes deep dust baths in our mulch pile such that only her beak and some feathers stick out. I think people call BO friendly when what they really are is fearless. I literally have to pick up and move her to get her out the garden. I can push her with...
Here's at least one hawk that visits our coop in Los Angeles! The hawk is sitting on the run while the chickens are cowering under the coop and in the coop doorway.
While I paid $90 for 12 eggs from the Bev Davis line at Greenfire Farms and only have 1 pullet, 1 cockeral and 2 unknowns, I'm most interested in finding good homes for them or maybe someone with a child interested in showing chickens or in 4H. They hatched May 12, 2010. My daughter and I...
I was VERY SURPRISED to see that we had our first egg today but these chickens had access to medicated chick starter about a week ago. Can we eat that egg?
After I installed these, I realized I can't get the reservoir tank high enough unless they just need to be higher than the nipples? I also want to set up a PVC nipple waterer in the run. Any specific suggestions for this set up would be greatly appreciated! (Please ignore my lack of...
I think I've got 2 cockerals and 3 pullets. What do you think and why?
PIC 1:(only 4 of the 5 Ameracaunas are in this pic) Two roos hopefully at 11 & 12 o clock and 2 pullets with a silkie in between:

PLEASE DO NOT BID. I've never done an auction before so please just email me.
Unfortunately, I hatched 3 cockerals and only 1 pullet. While I paid $90 for 12 eggs from the Bev Davis line at Greenfire Farms, I'm most interested in finding good homes for them or maybe someone with a child...
