    Will male turkey take care of babies.

    My Tom takes great care of the poults. At night he roosts with them & nestles them under his wings. They aren’t even his. I hatched them from a friends eggs & put them in with the general population (chickens & turkeys) when they were 2 months old. My female could care less!

    I'm looking to add a shady vine to the sunny part of my chicken run. I would hate to plant something that would harm my girls. Suggestions??

    On concrete floors....

    What do I put over this concrete floor to make it more comfortable for my girls? I have been using pine shavings, but we live in North Florida and it gets wet. Would sand be a good cover for the concrete? How deep would it need to be?
