I got two of these lovely ladies in my ornamental layer order. I thought they was cream legbars when they was younger. But now that they have no crest. I am not sure what they are!
Just triple checking, pretty sure Hera, is a Hercules! These are the best pictures I could get this morning! Some of his head feathers still have casing around them.
11 weeks old, I'm thinking lighter one maybe a pullet? Darker a roo? I'm horrible with these silkies! The lighter one has a straight comb, but no growth on it.
Iris, I know both Iris and Irene have straight combs. All 3 are 8 weeks old Saturday.
Irene
Hera is the one I'm really crossing my fingers on. I'm hoping I kept back pullets and not cockerels!
I got this little Cochin cross, I think possibly with a silkie. Has 5 toes, with a beard and crest. But what is up with it's comb! Not sure I've ever seen this. I thought it was just a typical straight comb, until further inspection.
Not sure... I'm guessing 3 roosters. Frizzle is 6+ months old. The showgirl and buff are coming up on 12 weeks? No crowing from them yet. Not even the frizzle.
Started on corid, soon as I seen this. Come out if my grow out cage from a batch of 3 to 4 week old chicks!!! Not sure who left the poop. Going to observe them after a while to see who is maybe not well. I brought it outside to see the color better. Looks pretty gross to me!
Was told it was a partridge showgirl, when it was 3 days old. But doesn't look like the rest of my partridge chicks. About the same color as my Mille Fluer D'uccle chicks tan coloring. Im just curious what it will look like grown up!
I figured in my free time, might as well do something, other than watch TV. So why not talk about my lovely flock. They make me giggle daily with their antics. Be it, jumping my garden fence, raiding my mint bed, pooping on my porch, narrowly escaping predator, or generally being their...
Hello from Ohio! I've had chickens for roughly almost 3 years now. We also had them growing up too. Honestly at this moment, I'm not even sure where my numbers stand. I want to say 30+? 😂😂 If my husband knew that, I'd be in the coop with my chickens! Anyways I know for sure, I have 8 grown...
I got a 4 to 5 month old frizzle silkie, named Gmork. I think it is a rooster. But honestly, I have no clue. I also have a silkie and a showgirl that is around 6 weeks old. I'm hoping, I got at least one pullet in this trio. But my luck I got a trio of roosters... Anyways meet the group! Maybe...
