Hi y’all I need to find a new home for my 6 ducks located in Etta, MS. It’s between oxford and Tupelo.
I have 2 Pekins ( 1 3YO Male and 1 2YO Female) and 4 Runner Ducks (1 2YO Male and 3 1YO Females).
They are awesome and beloved, but with a baby on the way and deployment coming up, they won’t...
Just picked up one of these babies from TSC! Hoping this box mounted near the ground will deter my duckies from laying under the deck where it’s hard to grab.

Also, check out this “honker” we got today from our pekin!
I’m so excited for new ducklings! Ordered 3 girls who are coming mid-March... blue, chocolate, and fawn and white. After such a long time alone, Wing-nut will be happy to have company again!
I am sad to report that we lost Ding-Bat today. She wouldn’t eat and was so weak even with tube-feeding. Wing-Nut is lonely now... :’(
Anyone with Female runners that need a re-home or are for sale?
I’d like 1-2 females, so ordering is pretty pricey or hard to find. I’m in Northeast...
If they end up being females and don’t have a home, let me know! Im trying to find ducks in Mississippi, but Georgia might be my best bet... One of my ducks passed and my drake is lonely. :(
I did find a vet in Collierville, TN, Dr. Shannon McGee. He was great, unfortunately, my girl passed on this morning.
ISO a friend or two for my (suspected to be) drake. Looking for hens (girls) only. He is a fawn and white runner. I prefer another runner but would take any duck for him to...
Help! Anyone know a vet I can call over the weekend? My 5 week old runner duck isn’t eating and is getting weak and I don’t want to wait until Monday. I’m in Northeast Mississippi between New Albany, Tupelo, and Oxford.
I’m so sad, my little 5 week runner is having the same symptoms. I’m trying to find an emergency avian vet, but any avian vet is hard to find in Northeast Mississippi. :( I’ll check my state page
So true!! :gigIts keeping me super duper busy that’s for sure! My husband is deployed so the build is going slower than I hoped, but I’m only a few days away now. I think I’ll take your advice and cover the pool to get them out of the house quicker though.
Thanks! I wanted it to be cheerful! They will spend most of the time in the enclosure, but will be let out in the morning or evening.
They can’t free range when I’m not home because there are far too many predators. I’m adding some roofing to part of the pen so they have shade as well.
They...
Hi duck friends!
I’ve been building my duck house and run, and need some help with the pool. Everyone says make sure that the ducks can get in and out of the water on their own, but I’m having a hard time finding out exactly how to do this.
I have an 18 gallon tank that sits into the deck...
