No, it’s impossible for any of my ducks to be attacked. I’ve barricaded their fence so much, nothing would be able to dig under or climb over.
I guess I’ll get a necropsy done. I really hope they’ll be able to tell me what happened.
First, I’d Like to apologize if I put this in the wrong forum. I wasn’t sure which one to post in.
Now, Penny, my welsh harlequin, dropped dead yesterday, for no reason whatsoever. There was nothing wrong with her leading up to her death. She was eating and drinking just fine. Did she eat...
My two ducklings, a few days old, just ate some peace lily. It was a very small amount so I’m hoping it won’t kill them. I was wondering how much a duckling really has to ingest for it to actually harm them, because they ingested such a tiny amount. I’m going to keep an eye on them for the next...
Okay, I will do that. When they are older I’ll separate them with a fence for a few weeks to make sure they are all used to each other so no fights break out.
Hi! I just got two female Khaki Campbell ducklings today and they are about a day old. I’m not going to introduce them to my seven week old ducklings just yet but I’m wondering when I should and how I should do it?

@Miss Lydia
I wanted to thank you so much for all your help!! Her leg isn’t completely better, but she’s limping on it instead of curling it next to her stomach!! I’ll think she’ll continue to improve. So, i just wanted to thank you for helping me out with her. I don’t know what i would have...
@WildCHILD400
Thanks so much for the helpful information!! Do they still need a heat lamp at 4 weeks?? Also, do they have feathers yet at 4 weeks? Because if they don’t, then the lady we bought them from gave us incorrect information on their age.
Hi! I really don’t know if this is the right forum to post in; since the chickens I’m about to talk about aren’t exactly chicks. Anyway, I just got two new chickens today about 4 weeks old. My sweet Silver-laced Cochin hen died of a raccoon attack a week ago, and my poor Dandelion(unsure of...
