Both i guess from what you can see from the pictures. Dont really know what to look for in silkies.

I am new to silkies and want to know what the professionals have to say about my silkie rooster.

One week old today!

I got nine chicks from my dark brahma bantam and my silkie. I have absolute no idea what this cross will produce. Has anyone done this cross before? How did the chicks turn out?

Here are the parents.

I got him from tsc.

They all have the black face, eyes and beak. Their feet has a dark shadowing making it look silver. The father is a dark brahma bantam and the mom is a white silkie.

Yea, very interested to see how they will look. Some noticeable traits i see from the silkie mom is the black beak they have and the fifth toe. The color pattern for the chicks is almost the exact for a dark brahma bantam chick. So i assume theyll look more brahma but we’ll see.

That’s the thing. Idk what they are specifically lol. A church member gave me them when they were chicks.
