    Hello all!

This is all extremely helpful information. I don't even know how to process all of it right now haha but thank you very much! I will reference a few things in that post for sure!

    Hello all!

T Thank you very much, very useful information! Definitely something to consider, I know raccoons can be really crafty. I think as well as making sure everything is bolted down and everything but air tight I will get a few pet safe animal traps and try to relocate as many things as I can...

    Hello all!

Hahaha yeah I have multiple cats that hang around the coop waiting for a chance at the chicks anyway. so the mice hopefully will be taken care of but I'd just as soon buy 1/4 inch if it's not marginally more expensive

    Hello all!

Thank you! Unfortunately I recently purchased 2 of the largest rolls of chicken wire I could find is there any way to make that work? Doubled up or maybe just like a run out of chicken wire and make the coop like fort Knox? I know chicken wire has other uses in gardening but I have a LOT of...

    Hello all!

It took me a second to see this for some reason. But that is good to know, it seems like they are tough little critters and can handle almost anything. Thank you I will be much less worried removing the heat lamp knowing they can handle worse

    Hello all!

Thank you that is very helpful I got mine at a similar store I do have a tractor supply within driving distance tho I will have to check it out. I hope to let mine range as well anyway so if it's not nutritional I might as well save my money, I know I will spend it elsewhere. Do you think giving...

    Hello all!

Thank you I will remember that, I think I have been within reason of that, I give them maybe a half a handful between the three, 1-2 times a day. However I have one that practically prefers wood chips and I can notice it's feathers are not as developed :/

    Hello all!

Awesome thank you that's good to know! It's hard to be sure if you don't wanna risk it. Seems like a lot of people are over protective and concerned with their chicks, and them also a lot of testiments to how tough chickens can be

    Hello all!

That definitely makes sense, il admit I might treat them probably too much. I just assumed it was benificial. Is there any way to be sure I'm getting the kind that are more nutritional? I don't know a lot but they don't seem cheap. 8$ for a bag of dried nightmares seems like plenty haha In what...

    Hello all!

Hello all! I'm new to this site, and new to chicken raising. After going to the hardware store to get a piece of metal I finally caved and got 3 baby barred rock pullets. (On September 12) This site has more than helpful in answering most of my questions so far just by clicking through old...
