Well, the one I was almost possitive was a rooster tried to crow this morning. I missed it but apparently it was pretty cute sounding according to my husband. Now, I just need to figure out what the other 6 are.

Ok, this is the best shot I could get of my chickens. I'm a little worried that most of them might males. I'm hoping to at least have one pullet of each color. I know it will be hard to tell me from the pictures but I was hoping someone could at least give me an idea of what I'm looking for.

I have two cuckoo Marans and I was disappointed I didn't get the dark chocolate brown eggs. Mine lay medium brown eggs with darker spots on them. They are quite a bit darker than your picture though.
