Short of this story: I grew up in the mountains of WV hating my grandfathers chickens as a kid because I was paid a whopping 25 cents to gather eggs from an old chicken coop that was build in 1875, was full of rats as big as cats, and had a wasp population of about 125,000. That being said...I...
