sonew123 - I did put some cardboard in to separate the eggs from contacting the rocks, thanks for your concern. I am gently turning by hand 3 times a day so there is no chance that anything is going to shift unexpectedly.
Last night I set 7 eggs in my new Oct 20 Eco, I am keeping it small for my first attempt. I used used rocks to hold my spacing, hopefully they will act as heat sinks, I heat with wood so my house temp fluctuates greatly.

My Octagon 20 Eco is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. This will be my first attempt at hatching. I hope it goes well, I know my roo and his girls have been doing there job.

Thanks Jennifer, I'm gonna give the hatchery a call, they are 12 days old, today is the first day outside so they are eating some grass, The feed is non-medicated, I bought them from a hatchery, I have a brooder light and the temp is good. Ducks pretty much fall into the same category as geese.
