    Once hes got'em in line he'll just talk to them and they'll get down, he'll hop on do his thing and hop off, not much pain, but they'll have to mind otherwise he puts'em down. He would like 4-8 more hens but 4 better than none.

    Looks like from your website you have plenty of room for more roosting. get more wood? Roos will seperate their hens outdoors and get along enough inside. You just need more perching space. They only need afew square feet each if they have all that space outside.

    Put her in a cage on the ground with water and not much food for a few days if she just started if shes been that way for a week or so you'll probley have to leave her in for a week.

    I wouldn't use petroleum jelly on me. Use grass hay and let him take dirt bathes, plenty of food, water, shade...? Don't handle him to much or chase him in the process. May have some Leghorn blood?

    (today was (I think) around day 18)............the chick would be moving around by then...the hen knew it...21 days to hatch....viens at a few days ...18 would be a solid dark chick.
