She is a pekin bantam, we have two pekins and two silkies. The others pant when out in the sun but are fine in the shade while this chicken seems to be panting very rapidly almost all the time. Which is why I’m not sure if it’s the heat causing it. Thank you for your reply

I thought it might be that, seemed to be a long hard bone-like structure. Didn’t press too hard obviously! And yeah hopefully it is nothing, we bought some wormer today just in case but as long as she’s well and still her usual self hopefully she’ll be fine. Many thanks for the reply :)

We didn’t think much of it at first but since she hasn’t ever made the noises she used to. We’re more concerned about the possible wheezing and lump that seems to be in her throat. But thank you for the reply :)
