    Lash Egg found in chickens

Hi, today I watched one of our birds lay an abnormal egg, which we believe is a lash egg. We’ve done some looking around on the internet, but everything is very vague and there isn’t much information. Is it salpingitis? If so, is it treatable? What can we use to treat it, or does it require a...

Hello! So we have 4 roosters, and not enough hens. So as much as it kills me, we're going to have to get rid of 2. They're both good roosters, one is a black Silkie, and is about 24 weeks old, and the other is about a year and a half, and is a Silver Duckwing OEGB. (Both are bantams). Einstein...

    Odd Behavior

Howdy- my eldest chicken Ethel, a buff Orpington, has been acting quite strange the past few days. She hasn’t been leaving the coop, she’s just been staying in there all day. Not on a nest, on her roost in the very back corner. She constantly clucks, and randomly screams for no reason. She’s...

Hello! I have a little rooster in need of a new home, as we already have a rooster and our flock isn’t big enough for another. He’s about a month old, we call him Nugget or Dancer, (most of our chickens have multiple names because we can never decide on one). We believe he’s a Crele OEGB, but...

    Crele OEGB Roo!!

Hello! So, I recently bought four bantam chicks from farm and home, and we believe one is a rooster. Sadly, we already have a rooster, and our flock is too small to keep two. We’re looking for a nice home for him because of this, and seeing as how lucky I was to re-home Jasper (our other...

Hello! I have a six month old hen here, and we are not sure what she is. At first we thought she was an EE, but we don’t know. Her feathers look like a dorking.
