I had this problem with an old camera once too and ruined many a film roll before I figured it out. On the bottom of the body of your camera, there is a small film rewind button on the right hand side. So flip your camera upside down, and you will see a very small, very unmarked button that you...
I just purchased the fabric for my first quilt block swap! This is the same fabric I'll be using for my first quilt, and the same design too. I'm a little nervous that I didn't leave enough time to make it, but I was over abundantly busy in the beginning of June. I will be happy when August is...
I am in a situation similar to yours, and personally I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure that psycho lady has no idea about the situation with your landlord. She's just going to go and run her mouth. Most people can tell the difference between truth and when someone is running off at the mouth...
I'm so glad you speak so highly of hand applique! I have been a little nervous, but I figure the old way is the best way to try to start. Although I work in the technology field, I really prefer to use the common sense, old fashioned approach to most things. I'm so sorry to hear about your...
I've been considering beekeeping, but for now I'm only thinking of building a Mason Bee Nest. I know you guys mostly are in it for the honey, but I want the garden pollinated :-) Any other Mason nesters around? I apologize if you've already mentioned, I may have missed a few pages on this thread.
An acquaintance of mine in high school used to have a pet porcupine. We went to a residential high school though, so I never was able to meet the little guy.
Goats for me :-)
My mom has 2 goats that just kidded, so we'll be back to making goat ice cream, cheese and soap again! Plus, my son doesn't tolerate cow's milk or soy milk proteins, and goat milk is the closest in composition to human milk, which makes it very good for those with sensitive...
I was planning to hand applique, but I haven't done any before. I've been studying the instructions on Quilter's Cache and You Can Quilt This and I think I'm ready to try... Although when I do my quilt, I think I will ask a favor of a friend and at church who does machine quilting to finish it...
My husband and I purchased the Team Beachbody workouts P90X and ChaLean Extreme. I did ChaLean Extreme, although not very well and not very long and that is no longer acceptable. I'm looking for buddies to do P90X with - I need to check in and tell you that I did or didn't do it and have just...
It is commendable that you are able to keep pushing through it! I know how hard it can be - from givnig up myself several times. However, making sure you have the appropriate nutrition and resting mid-week might help a little more to reduce the pain. :-)
I love these organizations! I've volunteered with Soliders' Angels for a couple of years now (similar organization) and I highly recommend folks to do this. I know SA has a program for kids, I don't know if AdoptaSoldier.org does, but as long as folks are supporting our troops - that's what counts!
And I thought my neighbors were crazy! I hope D doesn't endure the wrath of the crazy GF too much longer... Sometimes it's hard to come to your senses when you're the one on the inside. Good luck and I hope no further problems happen!
I'm thinking about trying this pattern for my first quilt: http://www.thequiltercommunity.com/Wcd8a93a259202.htm
I really like the blue look all the way down at the bottom, the first setting example. Any thoughts? I'll be fabric shopping this weekend. Oh, and my swapper will get one of these...
