help, I’ve bought 2 batches of mandarin duck eggs, and only 1 egg is fertile, it’s too late to get any more eggs, what do I do about this one duck that is going to hatch?!?!?!
Me and my chicken partner are in a disagreement, he thinks that we have to let the chicken eggs cool everyday mimicking the mother hen leaving to get food and water, but I’ve never heard of anything like that for an incubator, besides for duck eggs. Please leave your opinion

We have 14 bantam polish and 7 silkie Eggs that we’re incubating, they all developed very well until day 16 which when we put them into lockdown, our humidity levels through incubation were 40-58% (I read somewhere for bantam chickens it better to put in lockdown at day 16)- please let me know...
