My grandpa works at a pig farmer here locally and when they feed the hogs there somtimes the feeders spill over. He likes to collect this feed and give it to me for the chickens, but it pig feed it cant be good for chickens can it?

I just got my order of chicks from Murray today,and they crowd the heat lamp. I have a thermoeter in there and it says its 110 degrees in there. The temps outside the coop is around 20 and its very windy here, theres suppose to be the coldest cold front coming in tomarrow.

I just recieved about 60 bushells of wheat to feed my chickens, but I read somewhere that wheat swells in the crops of chickens and will kill them. Is that true ?

I got a sportsman incuabtor as a gift from my grandma who used to hatch everything from chickens to parrots anyway she cut a hole in the door and scewed a piece of plexi glass on each side and the temperature won't get over 96.3 . Is there anything I can do to help bring the tamperature ?

Is it ok for 2week old poults to free range? Its been in the 100's for this week and even hotter in the coop. I have a little pen they could be in its shaded and everything.
