    Chicken can't stand

Hi all, This chicken and another one have hatched today and both cannot walk properly. They sort of shuffle around on the tops of their legs. The picture below is the best I could get, the legs seem to be too far forward or something like that. My question is: what can I try to fix it?

    Aussie Christmas: hatch-a-long

Hi all, I'm from Australia and just loaded my incubator. The chicks will be mixed breed and the eggs are a variety of colours. They've been numbered, feel free to pick one and give it a name (most of my chickens have old timey names, but any name is fine). And just maybe you'll pick a winner...

    Blind chicken

I have a chicken that has hatched. It has no eyes. How do I teach it to eat or would putting it under a broody hen so she can raise it be a better choice?

    Eggs

Can you feed eggs to roosters? We have a yard of meat roosters and way too many eggs from our hens and I was wondering if I could feed hard boiled eggs to the roosters?

    New gosling

How do I get my gosling to eat? I hatched it in the incubator and only one hatched. Do I need to source another chick of some description to show it how?

    Assisted hatching Goose

I started assisting the hatch of a goose egg but when I got to the internal membrane it is just white, I wet it a bit and it didn't change colour. I'm uncertain whether or not to continue because I don't want to break a blood vessel.

    Star gazing turkeys

One of my turkeys hatched some chicks today and most of them are star gazing. Anyone know why this would be and what's the best way to fix it

    Incubation

I was wondering how long it takes for a pilgrim goose egg to hatch. They've been in 24 days but I don't know whether to move them from the turning trays or if they need another week.

    Goose Eggs

How long does a pilgrim goose usually take to hatch? I've had one in the incubator 3 weeks which I know isn't long enough but there's varying opinions on whether it's 4 or 5 weeks. Also if anyone has a day to day picture log of their eggs it would be most appreciated

    Blue Eggs

Has anyone else had their blue chicken eggs become impossible to candle after being in the incubator a week? I candled the eggs before I put them in and I could see inside fine. But after 7 days the eggs are impossible to see through and the regular eggs are not like this. They cannot be...

    Khaki Campbell Moving her Nest

Hi all, I have a Khaki Campbell that's been sitting between 3 to 4 weeks and during this time she has moved her nest twice. The first time I didn't take much notice but she has done it again. Earlier today I observed her moving her nesting materials and just now I checked and the entire nest has...

    Fertility

    Unknown sexes

I'm new to having quails. And hatched these out late last year. And for the others that I hatched I was able to tell if they were male or female but these three have got me a bit stumped. Any ideas?

    Please Help

I am just a little concerned about the remaining Indian Runner eggs in the incubator. I had one hatch on day 26 and it is now day 28 and there is no movement from the other eggs. When I stopped turning the eggs a couple days ago I candled the eggs and could see movement in most of them and now...
