Just got these chicks today..this one was in an assorted bin…anyone know the breed?

The mallard is quiet but the Campbell kinda sounds like it quacks...but they have a slight dark green head and they look like they are starting to get lighter grey feathers on their body’s? So I’m not sure

Can anyone tell the gender of these 2? They are both 10 weeks old. One is a Dark Campbell and one is a mallard.

Sorry so many questions lol, but how can you tell if it’s a male or female mallard? It is a lot smaller than the other duck. And the other duck doesn’t have a strip on its face so I’m trying to figure out what it might be. But it also has some blue feathers.

Yes, they both have blue. The one with the stripe on its face is a lot smaller than the other one. They both have green on their heads.

Do khakis have blue in their feathers too? How long does it take for the mallard to look like a male 🦆

I have a female and a male fawn and white runner! I love them! I just wasn’t sure about the darker ones. I was told one was a black runner and one was a Rouen. But that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Ok thank you! I’ve just never noticed the oil gland in my other duckies and her feathers just look a little different than her sibling.
