Here are both of them, if you compare them, it looks so obvious that one is a cockerel, right? 😩 Same age, 6 weeks. Any hope I’m wrong and they are both pullets?
Good evening!
This is my first time raising Easter Eggers, they are 6 weeks old (blue Easter Egger). Any input on gender?
Thank you so much for any ideas!
I found this today, no shell pieces, nothing. One of our Buff Orpington ladies seemed a bit quiet this morning and was the last to leave the hen house. Any ideas if that was just a shell less egg or did an egg break in her? She seems ok now. Please help!
You won’t believe it but she seems a lot better today! She ran out of the hen house this morning and started eating. Maybe the rooster booster made a difference? She seems much livelier and is not sitting down anymore.
First time chicken mama here! My 1 year old laying Wyandotte girl has some symptoms that are concerning but I don’t know what she has. She has no appetite but drinks a lot, has diarrhea and seems weak, sits down a lot on the ground or on the perch. I noticed Friday evening. He comb and wattles...
I’m still in training with the girls, it seems it takes them a while to realize where the food is... 😁😇 But I love it, nothing wasted, the food stays dry even in our really bad rain storms, now they only have to realize that they have to stick their heads in reeeeeeally deep.
Help! My 9 week old Buff Orpington just pecked the earring out of my ear (photo)! What should we do now? It’s a cheap earring, I’m worried about my chicken! Any ideas what to do? 😢
