Cockerel it’s pullet? Blue EE, 6 weeks old

Here are both of them, if you compare them, it looks so obvious that one is a cockerel, right? 😩 Same age, 6 weeks. Any hope I’m wrong and they are both pullets?

    Shell less egg?

One and a half years. She’s a good layer. Oyster shell is always available and they eat layer feed.

    Shell less egg?

I found this today, no shell pieces, nothing. One of our Buff Orpington ladies seemed a bit quiet this morning and was the last to leave the hen house. Any ideas if that was just a shell less egg or did an egg break in her? She seems ok now. Please help!

Sick chicken, no idea what is going on

You won’t believe it but she seems a lot better today! She ran out of the hen house this morning and started eating. Maybe the rooster booster made a difference? She seems much livelier and is not sitting down anymore.

Sick chicken, no idea what is going on

First time chicken mama here! My 1 year old laying Wyandotte girl has some symptoms that are concerning but I don’t know what she has. She has no appetite but drinks a lot, has diarrhea and seems weak, sits down a lot on the ground or on the perch. I noticed Friday evening. He comb and wattles...

    Silver laced Wyandotte so dark

Maybe the next molt will lighten the color a bit? They molted in December so we will see by the end of the year probably.

Pullet or cockerel? 6 weeks old

I’m still in training with the girls, it seems it takes them a while to realize where the food is... 😁😇 But I love it, nothing wasted, the food stays dry even in our really bad rain storms, now they only have to realize that they have to stick their heads in reeeeeeally deep.

Pullet or cockerel? 6 weeks old

Yes, they are girls, they are getting lighter in color slowly. I read that the Silver Laced Wyandottes take longer to get their perfect colors. 😇
