Also, his comb is a cross between a rose comb and single through the middle. I don't have a good pic but it's interesting, as the middle looks kinda like a butt hole. lol
I don't know for sure but I was looking for others to share. No apologies. He came to me yesterday, was caught in a town where they steal roos for fighting. Thank you for your info. I am fairly new (only 9 months) into breeding and raising chickens, so I'm always learning.
Thanks so much. I will be keeping them as part of my flock. Funny how things happen when you open your heart to new experiences. Have been looking for a while now.
Ok, I got sucked in by intrigue last Friday because the farm supply had "clean legged bantams". They didn't want to guess the breed since the invoice said "HC" (hatchery choice).
I know better than to believe most of what they say since they just want to sell them. Nonetheless, I love bantams...
Fostering ducks that were found on Oahu, HI at one of the military bases. The woman brought them to me this morning and I am curious if we can I.D. them. Their probably mutts but they seem friendly and calm. Any ideas? They look to be less than a week old
They came from a feral population. I am trying to re-home them but may need to place them back in the wild? I am solely talking about the white birds. I know what the rest of mine are. I have a total of 24 chickens of all ages and am only confused with these two since I took them in to be of...
Yes, it was the white ones I am unsure of. Good eye, btw. I only take specific breeds but I am rehoming the whites since they were rescues. Sweet and curious, they are, however, I don't want to deal with mixing any of my chosen breeds when they start laying.
