    could it be coccidiosis or ulcerative enteritis? the first quail i lost had white poop-- i just didnt know what it meant. now there are no white poopers but the rest of the symptoms are similar to the one who died.

    i have some quail who seem pretty sick. their symptoms are being drowsy and puffed up, not gaining weight, and walking very slowly. they eat and drink normally and both are male. when i let them out of their coop this morning, one of the sick quail was sleeping with its beak tucked into its body...

    ive never heard of putting electrolytes in [healthy] chicks' water, although now i wish i did! no, i havent been doing that. all my other chicks seem normal though.

    the brooder is pretty small, but it's temperory. i try my best to not put my hand over them by sliding it down the corner. alright, makes sense. i cant get an elevated, eye-level brooder right now, but ill be upgrading to a bigger one soon.
