Goose with one squinty eye and no visible injury. What could be causing it?

My 2 yo African brown gander has been squinting one of his eyes shut off and on for several months. I believe it's always his right eye. He blinks as if there's something stuck in his eye but I haven't noticed anything visibly wrong. Then when I'm starting to get worried he will go back to...

I didn't see any lice/mites but I'm new to chickens. Might have missed them.

Possible oil gland impaction? Red skin, feather loss near tail (pics)

I'm worried about my hen - she has been having feather loss around her tail for some time, the skin is red, and her oil gland doesn't seem to be expressing any oil. Has anyone seen this before? Any advice on how to treat her? The nearest poultry vet is about 2 hours away and booked solid... I...

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the help. Ducky is doing well. I may have to drain it again soon, as the lump is still there. The only bad thing is that this duck now hates me lol :(

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

Update: I lanced the lump with a 20 gauge needle and clear goo started draining immediately! I massaged the rest out and the lump has shrunk a lot. It went better than I expected. Got some Tylan 200. Any advice on dosing?

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

She came from McMurray hatchery via USPS. So far all my duckies have been in a brooder in my shed. Weather has not been good enough to let them outside. So it's been a controlled environment. Unfortunately I can't say for sure if she came with the lump or acquired it later, but it is certainly...

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

Is there anything I can do at home for an abscess? My sister is staying with me and she's a nurse. Maybe she can drain and bandage it? I don't want to cause undue suffering to my poor gal, but I'm still waiting to hear back from vets.

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

I'm using pine flakes at the moment. It's definitely possible she ate some. They are pretty fine (not the big chunks I use for my hens)

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

I tried but her mouth is so small I couldn't open it very wide :/ Definitely too small for my fat fingers to reach in. I would say the lump is firm but not hard like bone. I tried massaging it, but it feels like a solid firm lump, not a pocket full of air/liquid. Could it be a tumor? :(

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

The treats I give her are mealworms and mashed up peas. I have not been supplying grit but I will get some. The crumble is Dumor duck crumble, with some nutritional yeast mixed in for the niacin. She has access to water all the time. Deep enough for her bill, but not her whole head. Should I get...

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

She's been eating duck food crumbles and the occasional treat. Pretty sure this isn't her crop.

Help! Duckling with lump on neck

Hi - I'm new here and hoping someone recognizes this problem. My less-than-a-week-old khaki Campbell duckling has a firm lump on her throat, next to her face. She seems active and well, and is eating, drinking, and pooping OK. However, the lump seems to be causing issues with swallowing, as she...
