How hard is it to feather sex RIR's, I'm hatching a mixture of RIR's and BSL's. Thought I'd go by the BSL's feathering, what's everyone think, this'll be my first try so any help would be nice.

My grand-daughter won this chick at the fair August 2nd and I don't have clue what breed it is or sex. I know the sex will show up later but any guesses would be great. Anyway here's 2 pics of it.

Tomorrow is my lockdown date (day 18). My question is, do I increase the humidity? It is around 45 to 48. I've read on here and in books that it should be risen between 60 - 70. My homemade bator has a fan.

I made this incubator and I'm having trouble get'n the temp and humidity right. The temp switch doesn't turn off or on right and I've left it alone for 15 different nights try'n to get it to stablize. Any suggestions, I've tried 2 different switches...

First standard egg I got it yesterday it got lay'd in the run area but this morn'n I got one and it was in a nest box and I'm excited just like I was with banie egg.
