Thanks, Cheryll. I'll look around some more for layers first. If I can't find any, then maybe I'll get some pullets.

CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH SWAP LISTINGS

Does anyone know the "rooster guys" or someone who would be interested in 6-8 roosters? I brought 4 to the rooster round-up but the rest were too young. They are good sized now. Some are 7 months old and some are 4 months old. They hang around the hen houses waiting for the hens to come in...

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who loves roosters! I just love roosters!!! I've heard that you can have a whole flock of roosters if you don't have any hens and they will all get along....sure is tempting, lol! But, alas! I want my own eggs, too!

CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH SWAP LISTINGS

Oh boy! Chichester this Saturday? I still have too many roosters! I need to re-home another large Cochin. He's another "pullet" that I bought last fall...but I was warned it could be a rooster...and of course... it turned out to be a rooster. He has amazing foot feathering with 3 1/2" -...

At what age do they no longer need a brooder light? I usually prefer 8 wks and over, or fully feathered and can go outside.

Hi everyone! The snow is finally gone from my backyard and I hope to get some new hens. I have too many roosters and not enough hens to go around! I hope to be at the Chichester Swap. I need to re-home this Partridge roo. He is about 10 months old, if anyone is interested. I bought him at...

CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH SWAP LISTINGS

Hi everyone. I'm newly registered on BYC, though I've been visiting off and on since July. I'm looking for standard cochins (especially a blue cochin), brahmas and a couple of BLRW. Do you know if anyone might have any of these for sale at the Deerfield Show or the swap in Candia on Sunday?
