Bad dog food may have killed two dogs.

She was feeding just purina dog chow, but bought the lamb and rice this time instead of plain. So it wasn't a complete brand change, But was a change none the less. I'll keep this updated when I hear back.

One of my clients and friend (im a dog groomer) just lost both of her dogs this week. One yesterday and another today due to renal failure. The only change she made was she bought a bag of purina dog chow lamb and rice on Friday. They were very healthy and had no issues prior to this week...

    weird.

I had a 2 yr old rooster that I found with his head stuck in a crack in the doors of my horse trailer, he had been there a while. I got him loose and I knew he wasn't going to make it. It was very hot that day. I processed him, let the meat rest a cpl days and put him in the freezer. Didn't...

Who is upset about this Raw Milk issue?

Raw milk is perfectly safe when you feed your cows what they are suppose to eat. Grass. Back in the day when they sold raw milk from cows being fed distillers grains and living in filth being milked by filthy sick workers. You bet people would get sick. So they figured out a way to continue...

My apricot and plum, nothing. We did have a late freeze this year, so I dunno. The dang squirrels ate all my peaches. Oh yes it is war on the fuzzy tailed rat. Soon as the leaves drop they will have no cover and "BANG!!!!". Squirrel stew for us. Last year they ate my plums.......grrrrrrrr.

    Texas Hay!

Just saw an ad on Craigslist, high quality rounds 195.00!!!!!!!! There's no way I could continue to raise market animals if hay was that high. What's really going to be bad is when beef prices shoot sky high because so many producers are selling out now because they can't afford the hay...

    After 11 years...

Wow, that just makes me so angry. All they care about is their money, not the families or the economy. That's exactly why our country is in the shape it is now. Greed.

    Texas Hay!

Yeah the only hay in Texas is coming from the north. There's a few Texas bales but the ones I've seen are crappy, not even fit for cattle at 100 a bale. Just crazy. There are some that are taking advantage and really hiking the prices. A good horse quality rd bale is 130 and up. It's going...

Very sick dog. Can you help me interperate these symptoms?

My brothers shep/rotty mix had the same symptoms, she did have a neck injury. Hers was real obvious though, she couldn't raise her head without wimpering in pain. It took her months to recover. She's 100% back to normal now though.

    PIG PEOPLE -Pig umbilical hernia.

Is it possible for them to heal on their own? One of my large 5 month old large black guilts developed a hernia about two months ago. The sac was about the size of a tennis ball and the hole in the abdomen was just big enough to put a finger in. The sac has been shrinking over the past two...

Urgent***Broken Leg, no feeling in toes. Cull or amputate?

He is in a rubbermaid container too, LOL. He doesn't mind it so much as long as he can see his girls. I put him out in the yard in it during the day so he can see them. He even crows in it, cracks me up. His foot just looked terrible, it was off color, not like it was dead, but just didn't...

Urgent***Broken Leg, no feeling in toes. Cull or amputate?

HE MOVED HIS TOES!!!! I think the foot may just make it! He seems to be healing pretty well so far. Wish I had taken a pic of his leg before I splinted it.

Urgent***Broken Leg, no feeling in toes. Cull or amputate?

He is pretty tame so I don't think he will object to being confined. He is in good spirits, eating well and drinking.

Urgent***Broken Leg, no feeling in toes. Cull or amputate?

He is a white rock. If I did have to amputate he would still have a nice stump. I am going to splint it, give antibiotics and see how it goes. Thank You.
