8 mth old pullet - breed unknown

ACtually, I'm happy with an identification of "mixed breed colored egg layer." 8 mth old pullet - breed unknown

I picked up this pullet via a post on craigslist. She is approx 8 months old, and originally came from a local feed store as a day old. She was being rehomed because she is apparently noisy. I'm hoping for some insight on what breed she is. She is predominantly white, with a reddish brown...

    Where do your hens sleep?

THOUSANDS OF MICROSCOPIC BUGS IN FEED!

"What are they?" chicken feed LOL It is extremely unlikely they will be harmful to your birds. If it concerns you you could freeze the feed to kill whatever bugs these are & stop them growing, and just continue to feed.

    Need Help With Breeds

These sound like Cornish Cross (CX's, as redrooster said). They are meat birds, bred to grow quickly, and be butchered at about the age yours currently are. As they are bred for such quick growth, they do not tend to be healthy birds as they age.
