I've had very good luck with the shoe and bandage. Usually you see improvement in a day I usually leave it on until it falls off although the last one I made was with duck tape and I had to remove it say about a week, duck tape stay on better than medical tape .

I have one, I did't put in windows I leave the doors open. In am they wait in their run. The run now has a wire top to stop them from getting out and eatten in early am.
I have closed the doors if it was to snow hard, but didn't close them this year never seemed necessary, it snowed...
Whats the crippled foot look like? Are the toes curled, crooked? You can straighten them, I have straightened a few. Make a shoe from soft cardboard like a cereal box, flatten the foot and tape, medical tape is best but I have used duck (should be chicken) tape but its a bit too sticky.

I have some shipped eggs that are about as scrambled as yours . I candled them last night and removed all the clears (which was more than half).
I had one egg I'd written no on. As I candled I saw a dark dot, and veins. What I didn't know with some of the eggs was if they'd stopped...
I don't have to do anything they even come to the door looking for me . I simply need to go outside and I usually have all of them around my feet. Beth
I have some shipped eggs that by the auction dates I figured I'd get about the same time, NOT .
I felt I could not let the first ones sit around till Monday so I put them in late Sat. I finally got the other ones today and they'll go in tonight.
I am trying the egg carton method I figure it...
I just got two boxes of shipped eggs one late last week one today. Last weeks was marked fragile eggs and the box was pretty dented although none broke. Todays was not marked and was perfect none broke and six extra eggs. I never expect more than 50% from shipped eggs and I usually get less...
This is great, how late are they?
I had two hatch, nice little chicks. I wanted more but these two are ok. Getting bator set tomorrow for some more (shipped eggs). Beth
Are you in South Portland? If you still have them. in late April (and maybe the incubator) I'd be interested. I have to come up the last week in April to care for my father on Long Island while my sis and bil go on vacation.
