    Buff Dewlap Toulouse Thread

My Sebbies are back to laying and my American Buffs and Buff Dewlap Toulouse are kicking the laying thing into high gear. I just hope spring catches up with my geese because I am running out of room for babies. Everyone think warm, spring thoughts and send them to Northern Iowa for me :) !

Well Celtic, so much for the end of the snow! We got 10-12 inches last night and this morning. It did make for some awesome pictures though. Geese amaze me. They don't even blink at these harsh conditions and are breeding and laying like troopers. Taking a snow bath in the juvenile pen

I adore my LGD! My birds would not be safe and able to play and roam as they do without her. I do the same with the eggs. She only eats what I crack open for her. We are going to have pups this spring (she is 3) and plan to keep one. Hopefully, she will help train! I need to take pictures...

Weather may be it. We just finished another snowstorm- hopefully the last of the season, probably wishful thinking- lol. I am just amazed that they started so early in Northern Iowa. This is my earliest season ever. Enjoy your new additions & your babies are doing great- terrible big babies...

I have 3 dogs with one being a Gr Pyr. LGD. I carry treats in my pocket and anyone who brings me an egg gets a treat and praised. I may not know where the egg came from, so I just hatch those to grow out and don't sell the hatching egg or new hatchling. I may be encouraging bad behavior but...

They are BEAUTIFUL! I bet you are thrilled :) My Buff Dewlap Toulouse just started to lay last week as did my American Buffs. My Embdens are up to full steam but my Sebbies are having trouble settling into a laying routine. Is this normal for Sebs? It is their first season laying. I have a...

    Buff Dewlap Toulouse Thread

Hello, I have not posted on BYC so am a bit of a newbie. I have Buff Dewlap Toulouse and am in my second year of breeding my "fluffy butts". I love them! I would post a couple of pictures but seem to be blocked or not doing it right. Any suggestions?

    Euskal Oiloa ( Basque Thread)

Hi! I am new to BYC, so if I make an error, please help direct me. I have 9 Marraduna Basque adolescents. I hatched them from eggs from Skyline Poultry. Great service and great eggs. I LOVE my Basques! They are everything that is reported, and more. My small flock is 16 weeks old and are...
