I have hens for eggs. I was told by the man at the feed store that if I don't have a rooster my eggs will be higher in colesteral, that they need to be fertilized. Is this true?
We have 12 laying chicks and 12 butcher chicks. We are having trouble with them pecking each other. Don't know which one is doing it, but the results are obvious. They are together, will it help to seperate the layers from the buthcer chicks?
