    LGD's and birds

    Will an LGD deter hawks and other predatory birds? I sure would like to free-range (daytime of course) my up-and-coming chickens in the pasture but we are right on the edge of a 3,000 acre prairie. ALSO- Will coyotes scale a (short- think pasture) fence for chickens in the daytime?
