How do i make my chicks like me? haha

My chicks are now four weeks old. When I first got them they ran away from my hand and would not eat from my hand either. I was patient. Sometimes I would put my hand in the brooder and not touch any of the chicks to let them know they didn't need to be afraid. I would gently pet them and hold...

    How long do chickens live?

Chickens will live anywhere between 6-10 years, though they can live shorter or longer lives depending on how they are cared for. I have heard of chickens stop laying at four years, some chickens will continue to lay for their entire lives but they will decrease in frequency as they get older.

    Handling baby chicks?

I just got new chicks that are now 8 days old. I want them to be use to human handling but is it too early to get them out and start becoming friends? If not what is the best way to go about this? Also when can chicks start eating treats such as grapes? Thank you!
