No, they aren't silly questions. We all asked them at some point I would lock them in the coop at night, both for predators and to help them establish the coop as a home.
Can you post a video of this? Or picture, so I can get an idea of age or maturity? Because chicken sounds are so varied, it's hard to know. How old is he? Do have any other roosters? Have you noticed interesting behaviours associated with the purring? Do your neighbors have chickens? Has he...
Do they have a nest box to lay in? If they don't decide to lay there soon, you may want to put a fake egg in there to encourage them to lay. How many do you have? The red is probably picking on the others because she wants to establish her dominance in the flock, especially if they aren't used...
I didn't like how he looked at first, but then I began to see fanart on tumblr, and I think he will definitely grow on me. I like that he's older-he doesn't look too old, either-and that doesn't mean they can't have a lot of running still. :) I think it will challenge the writers to branch out...
I've been waiting for a bit for this thread to show up! I loved the ninth doctor-he was my doctor. David Tennant is such a good actor though, and I love the emotional depth of the 10th. I'm only just finishing season 4, so haven't seen Smith or anything recent.
As far as the 12th goes, I hope...
I raised a rooster alone, and he wasn't too lonely but had never met another chicken till he was "of age." If you can spend a lot of time with her, it may work until she is big enough to go with the rest. But if you think she is sick, please be really, really careful or the rest of your hens...
African marigolds are actually really pretty once they flower, but they are more of a tall flower for cutting. Ours attracted dozens of butterflies every day, which was pretty cool.
Let's chill, everyone, before we create more hate. It's not the dog's fault, and it might not even be her fault that she had to take him. One never knows these sorts of things.
And, there was a rant alert.
You could always be a Smurf! In all seriousness though, keep scrubbing, and it will probably come off. Somewhere else I saw alchohol would work, so it's at least worth a try.
It's really cool that you made your graduation dress! Can you post a pic?
I would say the eggs are not going to hatch and remove them before the geese kill themselves. If one goose stands out as the leader of the rest, that's probably a gander. If you watch them around the pond, you may notice behaviour almost like they're flirting.
My favorite birds were always the mutts,so as long as the roosters get along that would be fine. From his spurs, he does look young, but his feathering is mature.
