    We have a small light outside of the coop so we can see back threre... No problems at all that i can see. At Target you can buy very small wattage standard bulbs.... like 15w or something like that. Perfect for adding a little light to the area.

    Some insulation is beeter than none for sure! I insulated the roof only and for a few reasons. First of all, by insulating the roof you will help prevent the build-up of heat from the sun pounding on the roof all day long.     I just went through this all too.. I was going to make plexi-glass windows however that stuff is expensive! I found windowns that people were throwing away and used them.... FREE!
