We have a small light outside of the coop so we can see back threre... No problems at all that i can see. At Target you can buy very small wattage standard bulbs.... like 15w or something like that. Perfect for adding a little light to the area.

I just went through this all too.. I was going to make plexi-glass windows however that stuff is expensive! I found windowns that people were throwing away and used them.... FREE!

My wife told me the other day that it will take 300 dozen of eggs for the payback! I told the girls BETTER START LAYING - OR ELSE!!!
