This maybe a stupid question but how would they know that it is water or use it when they never before. Is water dripping from it? Want to make one for my chickens in the future but afraid they won't know what to do when the times comes.

i keep my brooder inside, its just a box. so i only use the heat light at night. They are only almost a week old, It seem fine to me. So if they are 5 -6 week IMO it should be fine. But what do i know im still new
