This weather is crazy . I love it! We have trees down everywhere just west of Worcester too. This is the first snow for my crew and no one will come out of the coop. Glad I opted to throw a heater in there for my littler guys yesterday!

Good to know. I hadn't read about any of those other possibilities. What about the spread to the other chickens with any of them? Is there anything to do? I figured I was going to lose her- I was amazed to see she was still alive when I got up this morning. Poor thing.

Yes, it's about 3 feet off the ground so flooding won't be a problem. I will need to move my food though. Mine is in a rubbermaid containter too but it's out in the open. I told my husband that I was moving them inside for the storm...Didn't go over so well ;-)

What (If anything) are people doing to prepare for this storm? This is my first real storm having the chicks- Anything special I should do?

All is good here! My chickens just seem to keep multiplying...man are they addicting ;-). I am actually looking forward to a good storm:D.
