Hello all you incubating Kings and Queens! I have been haunting this forum FOREVER in hopes of eventually hatching my own babies. Today a FINALLY ordered a incubator. I would like you all to post your tips and tricks for all us newbie "bators".
These are some keets that were hatched Wednesday. Sorry about the odd color of the picture but the heat light is red. I am wondering if anyone knows what color the one in the middle will be? It has no stripping on its head or body and is a blue/gray color with a yellow belly.
I have never had chickens before. I recently purchased a silkie pair. She has laid 3 eggs and I want her to hatch them. Will she keep laying till she feels like setting?

2 day old chicks have pecked open the craws of 2 of the babies. I have separated them, but I don't know how to treat it, or how to prevent it from happening to other chicks.
