i got 13 new chicks yesterday. i only know what 3 of them are 1 light bramha and two barred rocks any way after the first night they are still doing ok

yes they will kill them you have to raise them in a brooder then another coop until big enough to protect themselves

i know that my leghorns are really small birds but lay huge eggs and are fine they should be ok probably just a spirt my rir hens had a spurt where they would lay double yolkers for about 2 weeks

i dont know if she will live stranger things have happened but it doesn't sound to good if she doesn't get better in another day i would just put her out of her suffering :(

i am going to try and build my own bator im going to put the eggs in the bottom of a styrofoam cooler with a heat lamp in it and leave them for a while and see if it works what should i do and do i need to turn the eggs and how far away should the lamp be from the eggs
