Figured I'd post this up for you duck lovers. I just got back from Venice and this is how we clean our birds. This is called the bird hitch. It'll roll through birds like butter. Just another way to clean them. Hope it helps with cleaning.

I bought a few eggs from Beakmaster on the forum, and here are the results... These monstros are three weeks old and as big as my big Tuxedos!!! My tuxedos hatched back in May. Big props to Beakmaster! I'll try to get a size comparison later....

I moved my lil cotton balls outside to their new home today.

Got these lil Q-tips from a forum member, but they showed up as eggs.... Here they are 2.5 weeks after hatch. Pooping machines!!! These little jokers have had great character right off the bat( compared to my own birds)... So,,,, whatcha think?

What do you experienced quail owners think about moving little over two week old birds to the outside pen? Nights are in the 40's-60's, and days are anywhere from the 80's-70's. Of course I'm keeping a light on them, but was wondering about the temps...

I work nights, and usually don't get a phone call from my wife until around 08:00. This morning she called me, with my 7yr old crying in the background ,saying that' a raccoon had killed all but five of our quail we hatched from our own eggs( for the first time).!!!! Talk about one angry Moe...

I cracked open one of our muy grande eggs the other day and out popped this!

I have a mystery layer....Someone keeps plopping out some jumbo eggs. These two eggs are from my 5 week old birds. They will be 6 weeks old this coming Thursday. Bad thing is, I've never seem any of my birds laying, and it drives me crazy!!! They all have a bad case of stage fright!?!
