Hi All,
I have a flock of about 20 chickens, free-range on a fenced acre with a large coop. They are very prolific layers, but their egg whites are extremely thick! As thick as duck eggs! Does anybody know why this could be?
Some stats:
We have horses and they love to eat the horse...
When we got these 3 little chicks, we were told they were silver-laced wyandottes. They look nothing like wyandottes! After doing some research, we think they're silver phoenixes. What do you think? If they are, what am I supposed to do with "ornamental" chickens???
I was given these little brownish chicks a couple of months ago and was told they were straight-run Wyandottes. They have grown into the goofiest looking little creatures and I'm pretty positive they're not Wyandottes. Does anybody know what these are?
Well I can't post images.... Hmmmm....
