He is aggressive to everything, really. He's gone after several people. Sometimes he hides behind the car and ambushes people who are walking by not even knowing he's there.
When he gets his eye on a hen he will chase her all days til he gets her.
I like these chickens pretty well, but my rooster has become very aggressive towards females. I'm a pretty "manly" woman and he still come at me sometimes. I don't trust him to be ranging if we have company. Good supply of eggs from the hen though and such a cute comb!
Finally! My chicks have hatched and they are gorgeous. Why did they take so long to hatch? Some are STILL hatching. 2 more to go and we'll have lucky 13!
I'm embarrassed to say I don't have a humidity gauge. I misted them this morning and I have a wet sock in there. One came out, but it still has the umbilical cord attached. It's trying to run all around though and peeping like mad. I think it's fine. The 4 others that have pipped haven't...

QUESTION: The inner membranes seems really thick and are pretty much white. Is this bad?
Geez, I hope they pip soon. I haven't any of them move in about a day. It's really quiet here at home so I could hear them moving in the 'bator yesterday morning from the other room. No action today though.... Still have the wet socks and the bottom of the 'bator tray has water in it's...
