A rooster, handsome
3 brown hens
5 black hens
This varies dye to age and hungry beasts. Just lost my other roo and my last white hen (Longhorn, this one I know lol)
No argument and thanks fir the website, cannot be too well informed. The catch to Cost Co is the location. I am 30 miles from Tractor Supply. I am easily a hundred miles from the nearest Cistco. Its a shame really as I'd love to be able to shop there. I think the fella originally posting was...
yes. we switched to 4 health after the wild. they both love it and have no issues anymore. we tried the blue buffalo but my older rottie refused it after a while and he got stinky. resolved when we landed on 4 health
we switched our rotties to the 4 health with great success. I have found their grain free line well worth the cost and they also offer a line for sensitive stomachs, though I think this is in the line that has grain in it, though this might make the transition easier on them to begin with.
I have 2 roosters, one big and red, one small and gold. 1 yellow leg hatch hen bred 3 babies and then killed one. The little roo has 4 hens 3 white,I think leghorns and one red. Then there is Chicklet who desperately wants to join up with the little roo and they won't have her

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the good information and the conviction that I didn't inadvertently kill her while trying to help her. I had steeled myself for the worst when I felt how hot she was. I was heartened when, after having the meds, I went out to give fluids and she clamped her...

I am afraid you are correct about the outcome. Thanks for the advice, we were wondering as well about the aspirin adn wasn't sure you could put something down the beak, so to speak. I sorry to hear about Tinsel, that is always hard. Going out now to do what I can.
If she shows no improvement...
Hi,
One on my chicks, hatched on Easter, was attacked last night by her Mother and Father. I am not sure just why they did this, only that hubby said he put feed in the feeder and they hopped on her, pecked her bloody and smashed her into the mud like they wanted to kill her. I isolated her...
Just to check, you have them on a starter feed and not cracked corn or scratch feed or something like this?
I moved my hen up too soon and she pooped everywhere!
Chickoree, my new chick, started panting tonight. To start, I got her and another from the feed store about a week ago and put her in the coop with my other chickens. I didn't know they would peck her, and they pecked the other one to death. So I put her in a dog coop on the porch in the...
