    Ah, wonderful!! I was suspicious when they weren't getting in any sharp saddle feathers... I'm so glad that they're pullets! Thanks to both of you!

    My silkies hatched out these EE mix chicks this past June. Up until now, I've always been entirely sure these two were boys because of how much redder their combs were when compared to their sister (who disappeared while free ranging a few weeks ago... RIP Ravenna) but now I'm having my doubts...
