My husband wants to get some someday. I think it's hilarious - 5 grand for a pair here, and they're meat birds over in indonesia, so people probably think nothing of eating them - and would think we are nuts.- jesirose

We had a donkey and she did not bother our chickens at all but she also didn't scare off predators. I ended up selling her because she needed more training than I could provide.- jesirose

It's because the genes are linked together. The genes for Dalmatians to have round spots instead of splotches is linked to a gene that makes them unable to digest liver.
