    The second one from the top looks like it has some curved saddle feathers, meaning boy. And the mostly black splotchy one looks like it is getting some skinny sickle feathers, but the photo is blurry.

    The shape of the hackle and tail feathers mostly I think. Cocks have arrowhead shaped hackle feathers while pullets have round tipped feathers and no curved or sickle shaped tail feathers.

    The black one is EE, possibly EE mom and Barred Rock Dad.

    The chicks were born on the 31st of December. Parents are EE moms, and could be BLRW, Barred Rock, another EE or Black copper Maran.

    I agree, though I think the top one has a cushion comb, or walnut, it's allover bumpy. Not rows like a pea comb or flat like a rose comb.

    @theresa hemming Welcome!!!! I'll be hatching some EEs soon, though I won't be keeping them, I am making room for my Silkied Ameruacanas. I look forward to seeing more pics of your babies!

    They are nearly 5 weeks old. I was afraid that all 3 I hatched are boys and I'm still thinking that is the case. Bummer but I have a few more tries in my incubator due on the 1st.

    I'm not sure what mix this EE is, but they hatched from pretty bluish eggs, they have lightly feathered legs so maybe brahma mixes? The pea comb is pretty clear though. Chick #1 had pulletish coloring but it's comb is pinking up now.... Chick #2 couldn't get the face, but it's comb is...

    The one I think is a pullet. Her comb also has no color. The middle white and grey one. The two I think are boys, their combs have a light pink tinge.

    I sure will. The dad was a really pretty lavender with red wings and body. One cockerel is wanted, not three.

    I hatched out 3/3 EE eggies on 11/09/15. Though I feel like they are all boys. All three seem to have 3 rows of peas on their combs. I have hope that this one may be a pullet.
