I know you have gotten good answers on this! I think you are wondering if a young Cockerel will hurt the hens if you them at such a small ratio. He might but it depends on the Rooster. That is a good point! It is not humid here in the summer, so misters work very nicely. It drops the temperature 10 degrees and I have personally observed it making a very big difference. EEs are bad in the heat, but you should see the Black Copper Marans!- ronott1
