I'm sorry but that would either be trapped and removed or shot if it was me, I just had to cull my whole flock due to wild critters in my coop carrying incurable illnesses in with them. IMO but that's just me.- chick rookie

where can I find a fake flapping Owl??? Wow I didn't think about Hawks... I know I will get DH's Owl ( don't move ) and Sally's fake flapping Owl and the snakes and just scatter them all over... something has got to give in that scene... lol- chick rookie

A warning about the Starlings!!! they will kill your chickens.!!!! found a hen in a corner under a big group of Starlings... they were pecking her. She cant hold herself up and she has not eaten for 3 days, I told DH when he got up that he needed to put her down. he don't want to but I am not...- chick rookie

I read that to DH and a few more too... thanks for the link. I like that site for other stuff it talks about to. If I remember right that ( or maybe it was a differant one like it ) is the same site I got my birthing kit together from. ( for my goats due in march I'm going to be a first time...- chick rookie

I feed them and I have 29 all together, well of the adults outside, oops no I have 28 adults outside, 1 adult injured inside and 2 chicks (inside of course. ) going to pick up some acv next Friday shopping. and try it out I haven't decided to go with the grain, or the layer....- chick rookie

the problem is they wont eat it, I left it out all day and it is still out there and they wont touch it. I cant let them go without eating in this weather especially. That would make me feel bad. js- chick rookie

I cant wait till Spring... I'm getting really grumpy... and my critters are getting tried of the barns and houses... yep my girls are loving it too... they are waiting in line for turns in the fav. spot. I had one that did that to but I didn't pay to much attention cause it only happened...- chick rookie
