I've been making soap in a blender weekly for the last 4 years. Plastic is better as lye will eat its way through glass. Having said that my blender is glass. Wormwood is an artemisia, same genus as mugwort and tarragon. Wormwood has a pretty foliage and looks good in a garden. All 3 share similar properties: nervine, anti parasitic and from what I've read, good for poultry. Would be fun to have all 3 in the garden- islafarm

Dry red wine contains about 1gram residual sugar per liter, so while that's still something, depending on how much you drink , it seems quite low: fruit would contain much more. Might there be something else ?- islafarm
