I screwed scrap pieces of 2x4's on both sides of the wall studs. This gave me a 1.5" slot to slide tool handles into. The shovel parts of the shovels are toward the ceiling....if that makes sense. Slightly angling them would help prevent them getting knocked down or a bungee cord to keep them...

Shredded zucchini can be frozen in 2 cup batches for use in zucchini brownies or bread. I do that with ones that get big. I also cut in half/remove seeds and stuff with Spanish rice then bake and too with cheese. It's pretty good that way too.

TOTALLY! White cloud mountain minnows are what I have. My tiny pond has zero way to ever release into any body of water so no risk of foreign species introduction. The other option are mosquito tabs.
