    I think you will have variation. Still too much fluff to say. Our dark batch were interesting, a couple had black centers to their feathers and one had feathers on the head/neck that looked like they were brushed back bc of how they were oriented. Yours do not have head feathers yet...

    My kid shows in county 4H. So one category she shows in are “pen of 2, egglayers”. They are either both “young” ( under a year) or “old” (over a year). Breeds need to look the SAME (for example 2 buff Orpington need to look as identical as possible, and that is part of the judging criteria)...
